Located 65 miles south of Sarasota and 68 miles north of Naples, Burnt Store Lakes is situated nine miles south down Burnt Store Road from U.S. 41.  The community is bordered to the north by Punta Gorda, to the south by Burnt Store Marina and Cape Coral, and by the Charlotte Harbor Buffer Preserve to the West.
