Burnt Store Lakes Property Owners' Association is a vibrant, growing, cross-generational deed-restricted community located in Punta Gorda, Florida.  Presently 40% developed, it features homes and condominiums set in a relaxed, tranquil country setting in harmony with nature.  It is governed by a self-managed Property Owners Association.

Boasting eleven fish-filled fresh-water lakes, spacious greenbelts, abundant wildlife and proximity to Charlotte Harbor and Burnt Store Marina, the community has much to offer everyone.  There is plenty of opportunity for fishing, bird watching, daily strolls and extended bike rides.

The Community Park on Spoonbill Lake includes "old Florida style" pavilions sheltering many picnic tables.  The park also includes restrooms and a playground for children.  The Canoe/Kayak Launch on Bear Branch Creek enables residents to launch and paddle through the mangrove preserve to Charlotte Harbor to appreciate the natural Florida environment and some of the best fishing in the local area.

Residents interested in boating, golfing, tennis, pickle ball, exercise, restaurant dining and other social activities can explore the offerings at Burnt Store Marina, located next door to Burnt Store Lakes.

Burnt Store Lakes itself is not a Charlotte County golf cart designated community.
